I am trying to find the parents of Annie Elizabeth Gibbs,who was born in 1850 in ashton under lyme Lancashire,she married Thomas W Kentish in 1898,i have records of her after her marriage but nothing before. If anyone can help i would be grateful. Jan

I must be reading this wrong as I can not find a marriage between Gibbs and Kentish.

Was this in England?

I think you are confusing Annie Elizabeth's surname with that of her daughter- in -law.

Hi Andy, yes you were right i did confuse the name with the daughter-in-law, i'd forgotten about the youngest Thomas W.i had Anne E Logan as his grandmother instead of mother,i think his grandmother was Hannah Norwood but still checking. Thanks for all your help. regards Jan.
