Margaret Marjorie Gibbs born in 1920 - parents William James Gibbs and Amy Ruff Amy died soon after Margarets birth of TB and William soon remarried Amy's Neice Florence Ruff and together they brought Margaret up. Margaret seems to have been known as Marjorie and was bridesmaid to her Uncle Joesph Ruff in 1937 when he married Irene Evans in Battersea and again in 1940 to aunt Bet ( Elizabeth Ruff ) who married Thomas Best. Margaret had a son Alan Michael in December 1941 he was then adopted by William and Florence ( Florrie ) Alan was my late Father. Margaret was working as an aircraft coil assembler and living in Broomwood road in Battersea in 1941 but thats as far as I have got - anyone able to help find out what happened to her ?
