my grandfather was leonard green. he had several brothers who i understand were named cyril, bill, fred. and alec. i have little information of these other men. i believe their mothers name may be RUTH .my family came to australia in 1967 or 68 so i didnt grow up wiht my english relatives. my grandfather leonard was married to edith lilian green. both are now deceased. if you are connected at all to this part of my family could you please message me. i am looking for any lost relatives i may have. robert leonard was leonards son so out there somewhere i must have some second cousins etc. my dad is now 67 and has no idea of his uncles families. anyone able to help me??? many thanks.

no nothing at all. excpet edith who married my grandfather leonard was a roseblade before she married.

Your Dad's birth certificate will give his mother's maiden name so if you have this you can then find the marriage details of his parents and work backwards from that. Good luck Irene

Did your grandfather or grandmother die in England or Australia? If England any idea when?

Its a wonderful name they were married in NUNEATON April 1936 {6d 1831,thats the reg. number} Hopefully if their births agree then that gives an area to start looking

thank you all for your help, i am so new at this. i do have a few things that tell me dates but what i really need is who the other brothers are and what happened to them. as you said i might find that out once i find out my dads mothers maiden name. my grandfather leonard died in england. my grandmother died in england in may 1992 and yes they lived in nuneaton.

You need to find Leonards birth cert, to get his Mums maiden name and the we can search births for siblings, with any luck.
