Thanks Jacky, yes I know Jeanie's family but not when she died which is thought to have been in Romania. I have a photo of her and husband Arthur in horse drawn carriage in Bucharest. He seems quite a bit older than her, also she was left a widow and worked as a Governess then. I heard on the radio that often families working abroad could not afford to return to Britain when they were old having all their assets in the host country. |

Thanks Victoria, for doing that check. I did try the census for boys in boarding schools in case Arthur's parents were abroad and he was educated in UK. One possible I have since eliminated. I've not tried 1911 census yet perhaps Arthur will show up in there but I'm not sure if Wales is released yet. |
