My grandfather Frederick John Green seems to have vanished into thin air, he was born in St. Helens Lancs in 1903 but can't find him or his parents on 1911 census. Parents are John Green and Mary Ellen nee Danby. I know they lived in Central Street in St Helens later in the 1920s, but that's all the info I have - can anyone help? |

I've got his birth cert, that's where I got John and Mary Ellen from. He was born 7/10/1903 in St. Helens. Although there's some doubt as to his real date of birth - he always celebrated his birthday on 17/10. And his death cert gives his dob as 17/9/03! |

Yes, Victoria, he was a general labourer and the address is 14 Merton Bank Road, St Helens. I've tried searching using the address but they weren't still living there in 1911, neither were they in Central Street, which is the only other address I have. |
