I have just seen your posting for Polly, and perhaps the best thing to do would be to do a quick search to see if anyone else has them in their tree on Genes Reunited. You may strike lucky!!!!

As with the other posting, I think that the best thing to do would be to order the Marriage certificate, that way you should find out the names of both fathers, bride and grooms ages, grooms and fathers occupations etc.

Thanks Lynne. I did try to see if there were any trees on these two ladies but couldn't see anything. I think you are right, I should get the marriage certificates.
Thanks again.

Hi sheila,
I am from Ch-le-St (now in Scotand) I lived in Lancaster Terrace and my neighbour was Mrs Margaret Wintrip. She had a daughter and 2 grandchildren. My friend is coming up here tomorrow for a holiday and I am sure she will remember the name of the daughter and family. I will do my level best for you. I know Mrs Wintrip moved to beverly gardens because my friend and I did all the interior decorating for her. Will be in touch

hello Sheila,
I am certain we have the right family. Mrs Wintrips daughter is Mary and she married a Donald Patrickson. They have a son and a daughter but we cannot unhappily recall their names. margaret address when I knew her was 55, Lancaster Terrace, Ch-le-St. She sold that house and went into a small flat for older people in Beverly Gardens Ch-le-St.
I moved to Scotland in 1981 but I recall Margaret died in 1984
Hope this is of some help to you
Regards
