trying to find any info. on Alfred Green born 1901 Middlesbrough ,he married Lydia Russon they had 2 sons Alfred born 1926 & William (Bill)1922. I know Alfred sen. as since died but can not find when. Does anyone know were the sons are?

Alfred middles name was James although he was my grandad I had very little contact with him as my parents divorced & my father Alfred jnr. did notkeep in contact with us. I do not know of any other brothers. I know Alfred snr was alive in 1972 .

The only Middlesborough birth 1901/02 is that of Alfred James Green

Dec Quarter 1901, which does tie in with the marriage info from Gwyn.

How do you know he was def born Middlesborough and 1901.

My mother always told us he was born in Middlesbrough but she could have been wrong although I have not checked a copy of his birth certificate.

As we found there is a birth in Middlesborough of a Alfred James Green, it could be your Alfred. I have tried to find Alfred on the 1911 census but there does not seem to be one born Middlesborough, he may have enterd the town/village name he was born in rather than Middlesborough (or rather his parents did)

there is a death in Surry around 1984/86 of a Alfred James Green born 13th December 1900?. Do you know anything else about him regarding his parents or any siblings?
