Hi i have a mystery regarding annie Green born around 1910 in sheffield my gran always said she was her sister my gran was may holland parents was annie green and william holland the child i am asking about annie green as the same name as my grans mum but not my grans fathers name holland and in those days you couldnt have a child out of wedlock and her mum had never been married prior . this is a mystery as on the burial records it says annie green nee simpson and was registered under 2 names i dont have the birth certificate so i dont know if she was blood related or maybe my grans mum had a sister and it was her child anyone know anything about any grrens ion sheffield get in touch .My gran got married her last name became may bartles |
