Trying to find Greenwood

MARY ANN GREENWOOD nee BOYES I am trying to find the first wife of my grandfather, ARTHUR JAMES GREENWOOD. He married MARY ANN BOYES in about 1885, both aged 19, They had a daughter Emily May who died at the age of 15 months and possibly other children who didn't survive. They were living in the Islington area of London in the 1901 census, both aged 34 with no family. In 1906 Arthur started another family with my grandmother and the story goes that his wife was in an assylum. I would love to solve this mystery and find out what happened to Mary Ann as I can't find her death anywhere, or which assylum she might have been in. If anyone an help I would be most grateful. |
