Trying to find Greenwood

Hi, I am trying to find out where my Grandfather John WilliamGreenwood was born, all I know from my mother who is now deceased is that he had relatives in howden/holbeck in 1943. He married my Grandmother Agnes Louise Cooper, a widow in June 1914 at Plaistow, London East. He stated he was 26 years of age and his father also,John William Greenwood, Deceased was a Stevedore. My Grandfather died in 1960, the death was reported by his Stepson,also deceased and I think there was a stepdaughter who went to Australia sometime in late 1940 or early fifties. My mother thought she may have married someone called Segal. Any help would be gratefully received. |
