I am looking for any descendants of George GREENWOOD. George was born March 24 1881 as the twin brother of my Grandfather, Henry Thomas GREENWOOD. They were baptised at St. Lukes, Finsbury in London. Their parents were James GREENWOOD and Anne Jane ARIES who were married in St. Bartholomews Church in 1863.There were several other children before George and Henry. George is said to have been married to "Alice" in about 1903 George and Henry joined the Army: Henry died on the Somme in 1916. George is not in the War Graves data and appears to have survived. Any and all information on George GREENWOOD, Alice or any family would be greatly appreciated Ray Staines, Ingersoll, Ontario. |
