A J Hall was born 19/05/1880 somewhere in England.His mothers maiden name was Amelia Plum.He had two brothers Sam & Herbert.I know he spent time in Broadstairs & Chester.Sam stayed in England,Herb went to Mexico and died there soon after arrival.My grandfather A J Hall married Beatrice Abels[Her dad was Herbert Abels]on26/06/1909. She was born 06/11/1885 This couple came to Australia on the Osterly 13/3/1911 .They raised 3 daughters & 1 son.That son is my dad ( born 1914) A J Hall worked for South African Railways for several years at the turn of the century.Ihave had no luck tracing him or his wife by internet P S he had been married to someone prior to his marriage to Beatrice Abels .Iwould like to find out more about these grandparents of mine Does anyone out there know anything Regards Jeff
