im looking for my nans family. i dont know if she had siblings and i dont know her grandparents.
all i know is her father was called frederick hall and her mother was margaret ellen mccarthy.
my nan elizabeth married a francis boddy. she died in 1953.
please can anyone help.

you may want to see if there is a match to any of these on" search trees" but i cannot see an Elizabeth! Do you have her birth cert giving the parents names?

no because i have 2 dates 1910 and 1912. my dad remembered his nans name margaret ellen and i got elizabeths marraige which stated her fathers name so looked up his marrage and confirmed margaret as her mum. i have an idea she may of lied about her age to get married, not sure though.

i see on death index it says she was 41 in 1953. If she was born after sept 1911 then mothers maiden name is recorded on the birth index. and i haven't been able to find that. If the above Frederick is their child it looks like he was the 1st after marriage
