Hi
I am trying to find the parents of Frederick Charles Hall who was married to Lily Ellen, he passed away in 1980, all I have been told is my great grandmother was italian and married my great grandfather, she went home to visit family in Italy and got stuck there when war broke out, she never came back to England, I visited England in 1986 and my Aunty Pat advised that she remembers when little some italian relatives coming to visit them. My grandfather was very strict and did not want anything to do with them and never let them enter the house. He passed away April 1980 and was born in 1897

Do you have Frederick Charles' death certificate? It may have some extra info.

Died 1980 Q2
District : Greenwich
Vol 12
Page 0978

This gives his birth as 15 Aug 1897.(Q3).. but no births registered then. There are 2 for Q4 though, in London area

Ablett, Baldwin, Coombe, Daniels, Edkins, Pascoe, Prowse, Seager

This might be him, as my aunty pat looked after them and lived in Kent, not far from Greenwich his wife lily ellen passed away a year or 2 after him

I am in Australia, so have no paperwork whatsoever regarding the english side of the family just plenty of old black and white photo's that mum bought over when she emigrated in 1950 From what my mum told me they always lived in Kent or parts of it.
