trying to find any info on maternal grandfather, Hugh Goodwin Hall born 1st march 1894 or 1895 in Salford Lancs. Unfortunately I don't know his father or mother's names. I know his mother died when he was about a year old and I think his father remarried a woman whom the grandkids called Aunt Tilly (she had one arm so quite distinctive!) he was an only child. I know his religion was methodist
I understand there were relatives somewhere called mallinson but unsure as to which side. my Grandfather married my Grandmother Elizabeth Anne Kelly in 1913. He served in WW1 and WW2 in the Royal Engineers Signals if this is of any help
