I'm trying to find information on my grandmother's side of the family but can't seem to get anywhere.

My great grandmother was called Gladys Annie Hall, born 1908 in Melton Mowbray. She married John Waldron (possible middle initial 'W') in Melton Mowbray in 1929. I'm not sure where he was born but I think they ended up moving to Long Clawson in Leicestershire.

Gladys had 4 siblings - Arthur, Kathleen, Madge and Cyril but i don't have anymore information on them either.

Gladys and John had 5 children - Margaret, Marleen, Marjorie, Mavis and John.

If anyone could help me please that would be great as I seem to have hit a brick wall.

You are going to have to buy a certificate to get any further, Her marriage cert would name her father and give her age.

Walrdon/Hall ....Melton M .......oct 1929 .....7a 831

Glady's birth cert will give you her parents names and then you should be able to find their marriage.

Thank you that was fast.

I think that the mother's maiden name was Selby.
