I am trying to find info on my g-grandfather, Stephen Hall (born approx 1805/6 in Yorkshire England), and in particular his 1st marriage believed to be to Alice Adley Dec.1832, in Yorkshire, England.
Issue were John, William, Thomas, Henry & Mary (listed as living at time of Stephen's death in 1879 in Australia).
Stephen had a 2nd marriage to Jane Reilly (born Ireland) in New York 1851 and went to California where 2 sons George & William Henry (my grandfather) were born. This family then moved to Australia in 1857 where James & Jane were born.
If anyone can throw any light on the family I would be very grateful,

1851 This couple are still together in 1861 so I don't think it can be your Stephen who married Alice Adley
