John was a police Officer at Ferry Hill , Durham in 1881 and had married Elizabeth Reay and they had about 10 children. I have the borth of one of the children, Gabriel and found he had married Harriet Baker Walton. John had retired from the police force at the time of Gabriel's marriage in 1906. John was at West Rainton in 1901. Bev
