Trying to find relations of Sarah Matilda Hall (also known as Irita/May) who was born in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire, in about 1890. We think she had one younger brother, an older brother and maybe 2 sisters, one called Nelly? Her mother was Ellen Hall, father William who died as a result of a blow on the head, possibly a beer barrel, because he worked in a brewery??Sarah/Irita was widowed in 1928 when her husband died of T.B. She had to take in lodgers. She lived in Portishead, near Bristol.We are pretty sure her family offered help but she refused it, leading to a family rift. Hope this rings a few bells! |
