I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE DEATH OF WILLIAM GEORGE HARRIS FOR AGES NOW AND NOT FOUND HIM. PLEASE HELP.

HE WAS BORN IN 1868, DEPENDING ON WHICH CENSUS YOU LOOK AT, HE WAS EITHER BORN IN SILVERSTONE NORTHAMPTONSHIRE OR REGENTS PARK LONDON. CANNOT FIND HIM ON THE 1901 CENSUS.

HE MARRIED IN ASHBY DE LA ZOUCH LEICESTERSHIRE IN 1893, HIS YOUNGEST CHILD WAS MARRIED IN 1918 AND IT STATES HE IS A COALMINER, THEY LIVED IN COALVILLE LEICESTERSHIRE.

HIS WIFE SUSAN DIED IN 1954 IN COALVILLE LEICESTERSHIRE AND SHE IS DOWN AS A WIDOW.

I KNOW IT'S ASKING ALOT WITH A 36 YEAR TIME FRAME INWHICH HE COULD OF DIED, BUT I'M BANGING MY HEAD AGAINST A BRICKWALL AND JUST NOT GETTING ANYWHERE. MAYBE A FRESH PAIR OF EYES IS ALL IT NEEDS.

Where he was born/married is not directly relevant, although it gives an indicator of possible place of death.

Please say exactly which images you have viewed............I assume you have looked in the full records?

One small point: if you don't need to use all upper case, please don't do so........thanks.

Have you found his wife/children in 1901?

Hi Reggie,

I have tried Ancestry and Freebmd and even sent for certs, but with no avail.

Found his wife and children under the name HARRIES, they were living in Thringstone Leicestershire.

Many apologies for the uppercase, hope I haven't offended anyone.

No...no offence.........it's just a bit hard on the old eyes!

What was his wife's 'status' in 1901?
