Leslie Harris was born around 1922/23, he had three children from his marriage to a lady i used to call Nen, I didn't know her real name. I'm not sure where he was born, my father Dennis Harris was born in New Southgate in 1925 but I cant find any information about Leslie or his children Robert, Peter or Anone i think thats how its spelt we called her none. If anyone out there can help please get back to me. by the way his parents were Married in Greenwich.
Regards.

Is Leslie an elder brother to your dad Dennis if so the birth indexes will have the same mmn.

If you know when his eldest child was born you should be able to find the birth which will give the mmn too

Found your dad and the mmn is Carter.
Looked from 1921-1923 inc and the only one showing with mmn Carter is this one

June qtr 1922
Leslie A c Harries mmn Carter Cosford 4a 1623

Cosford is in Shropshire so is this a poss??
Also note this Leslie has three Christian names where as your dad only had the one so do you think this is the right Leslie??

I don't think so mind you he did have an initial A in his name but there is not connection to shropshire in this part of my tree.
I want to ask a question ''would it be any harder to find people if there is a civil servant in that family or wouldn't it matter''?. The reason I ask is the daughter Anone was a civil servant you know house of commons and all that, I just wondered thats all. It just seems funny that I can find my dad and not his brother. the pronounciation of Anone is No-Ne

All the children in the family made it big so would it be possible that they didn't want to be found.
I spoke to anone briefly before i moved 7 yrs ago but not since and i've lost her phone number.
Blimey I'm turning this into a lost and found now sorry.
