My great grandmother Louisa Harris,marride my great grandfather Philip george pitt Oxley at Gravesend Kent.in 1885..She was born in Farmingham,Kent.or Farningham,Kent.in 1868 and occupation was' Hawker'and I dont think she could read and write because her signature is a 'x' (on my grandads birth certificate).Her children were Lydia,Philip,Sarah,John(Jack),Alice,Daisy and Con (my grandad).and lived in Bentley Street,Gravesend,Kent.all her marride life until she died,but I dont know anything about her life before she was marride.who were her parents or if she had any brothers and sisters etc.If anyone can help It would be greatly appreciated.

Her marriage cert will have her father's name and occupation........( if he was known to her)

Have you tried to find her on the 1881 census? It is free to all on www.familysearch,.org
