Please help find marriage cert of charles william harris and bridget dempsey.
c w harris born 1852 fulham, london
bridget b. 1860 fulham london
Thier 1st child was born. 1879
They both have siblings who married in church in and around. Fulham!
I have been unable to trace a marraige cert
Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated!

Parish Registers might be the only chance of finding the marriage.

Strange the marriage is not showing ?
As Bridget was only 19 when the first child was born PERHAPS they never married if her parents would not consent ?
Again perhaps Charles was already married as he was 27 ?

You do know for sure that they were both the parents of the first child?

i.e. that the child was not born to Bridge before marriage or to Charles in a previous marriage.

Just checking whether you're going by census info or a birth cert!

Margaret Dempsey 14 sis-in-law of Charles
Mary Dempsey 82 - born Ireland
