I've been looking for a marriage for Neil Harris to try to find mmn but can't find one.

Very difficult to pinpoint births without mmn.

John Harris Jul Aug Sep 1934 Newark Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire

The parents were Susan E Cregg and Horace Harris though! Marriage 1932 Q3 Newark. Perhaps he preferred to be called Neil.

thanks katie , yes this does look very much like them. its amazing the things you find out about your ancestors, the lies about their ages the different names sometimes totally unrelated names.
