Parents of Caesar Harris

Hi all, Im trying to find the parents of Caesar Harris b1665 Minster lovell, oxon I think. He married Elizabeth Rogers (1665-1698) in 1687. Father of another Caesar b 1695 I think. Also married Frances Palmer 1699.

Any help would be appreciated

He is likely to have been born during the commonwealth period where few parish records were preserved. In addition, several of the parishes in that area do not have surviving parish registers before 1700. Unless anyone else can find his baptism your only hope is Wills or DNA.

Margaret Rose offers Oxfordshire look ups --- she has just posted details for me and Caesar Harris at Minster Lovell

She has given me Caesar Harris marrying Merrywell ( or Merrell) Paxford 20th April 1769 --

and believes ( from the Parish Records ) that his father is likely to be Caesar Harris -- marrying Ann Maids on the 22 9 1742 in Tayton in Shipton under Wychwood and Ann Poulton on 8 10 1748 -- Minster Lovell

I appreciate you are asking about earlier dates but would appreciate knowing if you believe they are from this family ..

Hi Irene, I know you weren't asking me but imo the three generations of Caesar Harrises were father, son & grandson.
