MADELAINE BLANK Trying to trace my family tree on my fathers side surname :Harris from pewsey wiltshire. Robert james harris 13/02/1938 has a brother Brian who is know living in devizes, wiltshire grandfather: Edward james harris {known as charlie} 1911-1969 married to elsie ggmother:surname was a wild don't know who first name. ggfather: Richard james harris 1885-1959 I have been told there was an uncle Les Harris that moved to calne, wiltshire that has children. There is also a mention on a Morris that lived with richard and his wife but nobody knows or will talk about him. My dad seems to think he may have been a son of my ggfather but not of my ggmother.He would have been born between1910-1920 purely guess work as he was younger than edward. He worked for Frank Budd and Fred Dewey of pewsey wilts in the 1950's. If anyone might have any info please help. |
