Did he have an ?uncle who went down on HMS Barham? Some details may be hazy it's a long time since my Dad saw them all. I am new to this site & making lots of mistakes. If you are the woman I think, you are called after Bess's daughter Gilda. Bess ran a teashop with her mother Lizzie (nee Harris) in Keston. Bess was my aunt. Contact me please. Gilda Puckett
