I am researching the family tree of the Harris/Robinsons from Aston Birmingham. My great grandfather Joseph Harris was born in Overbury in Worcestershire, and his wife Ann came from Southam in Gloucestershire,They lived in Bishops Cleeve in 1851 and had at least 3 children at that time, Rachel 5 Mary Ann 4 and Jane 1. They moved to Birmingham at some point and in 1881 they lived at 7 Stenson Terrace Aston. My Grandfather Alfred may have been born in either Aston or in Gloucestershire between 1866-1869. Do any Harris's out there originate in Overbury? There do seem alot in the 1881 census, but I cannot tie them up to the family as yet. Regards Lynda |
