Trying to find Harris

Hi, I'm trying to find information on my great-grandmother Harriets family. She was born Harriet Hope-horn in Plaistow, London. her mothers name was Eliza Ann but her father isn't recorded. Her date of birth was 14/12/1884. At some point her mother must have married a James Harris because at her first marriage she is registered as Harriet Harris and her father is listed as James Harris. However I haven't been able to find any census data on her or her family at all or any record of anyone called Hope-horn (I've seen her birth certificate so they must have existed somewhere!) If anyone has any information I'd be very grateful as the elusive Harriet is a sticking point in my tree! Thanks |
