In August 1901 Rheuben Henry Harris (26) of 62 East Terrace, Patricroft, Manchester (b. Coltersworth, Lincs.) son of John Harris married Sarah Hannah Harris (21)...(probably cousins) of 10 Queen Street, Patricroft daughter of Alfred Harris born in Coltersworth, Lincolnshire. The wedding was witnessed by John Dowling (b.1883) and Margaret Dowling (b.1879) respectively step brother and step sister to Hannah. I believe they had a son Charles (circa 1906). Sarah is my great aunt...sister of my g/father James Robert Harris. If anyone can shed light on their trail. I'd appreciate it. Alfred's name was spelled Harriss in the 1881 census and was living in Carrington, Cheshire. |
