I am trying to trace information on the family of my maternal great grandmother Laura Harris whose family came from Cornwall. Laura was born about 1860 and died in 1898. Her father was a coastguard who served at Clifden and Bunowen Stations in County Galway, Ireland around 1860 - 70. Laura married Timothy McNiffe, had ten children, and they lived in Ballyconneely, County Galway. Are there any Harris' out there who might be connected ? Any information on Laura's parents or family in Cornwall would be appreciated. Leslie |
