Trying to find people connected with the following HARRIS. Samuel Harris was born c1810 in Swindon. Charles HARRIS (born Bethnal Green)c1855 and married Marian Hammond in Camberwell in 1876. Their children included: Charles William, James Arthur, William and Daisy. The family moved around Lambeth, Newington, Bethnal Green and landed in Chelsea late 1800s. Jim was married to Ella and they had one daughter, Nora(h) who was born aprox 1922. They lived in Hasker Street, Chelsea, later moving to Harrow. The family's last known address was in Roxeth Green Avenue, South Harrow. I believe Jim may have died during 1970s. William (Bill) worked as a fireman and nothing is known concerning Daisy. I should be pleased to hear from anyone who may be connected or have knowledge of the above Harris families. |
