I am trying to find the birthplace of my 3x great grandfather THOMAS HARRIS who was an agricultural labourer. He was born 1791-3 place unknown but probably in Devon. He was buried at Salcombe Regis in Devon on 25th Dec 1859. I think he married Jane GOSLING at Salcombe Regis in 1815. Thomas is on the Salcombe Regis census' 1841 aged 45 and 1851 aged 58. They were living at "Trow" in Salcombe Regis at that time. They had the following 8 children all baptised at Salcombe Regis between 1816 and 1837. William 1816), Mary (1820), Eliza (1822) but died 1824, Robert (1823), Eliza (1826), John (1828), James (1831) and Henry (1837). Does anybody have any of them on their family tree or any information on a birthplace for Thomas Harris. Thankyou, Diane |
