does anyone have any of the following on their family tree? Mary anne harris, my maternal grandmother, was born in santry village, north dublin on 15th may 1899. Her father was robert caleb harris, age unknown. her mother was mary anne harris, nee james, age unknown. Jane James is named on the birth certificate as being present at the birth and her address is given as tolka cottage, drumcondra. i think Jane James may have been mary anne snr mother. i can find no trace of Robert Caleb in any records that are available in england, ie. on line etc. and if i have to go to dublin i will, but there may be an easier way. i have no idea of where he was born, or whether he had siblings or parents alive at the time. can anyone please point me in the right direction? with many thanks. |
