My Grandfather, ERNEST MARSDEN HARRISON, lived in MOTHOLMROYD, YORKSHIRE when the 1901 census was taken. He was a stable helper, and was married to EDITH, (maiden name unknown). Ernest was born in 1877 in WAKEFIELD, YORKSHIRE, and Edith in 1880, in TETBURY, GLOUCESTERSHIRE. Edith apparently drowned sometime between 1901 and 1911 (?) which I think was the year my.Grandfather came out to Australia. Ernest remarried here in 1922(?) to Adeline Radley and they had 5 children, William, John, Mary, James and Frederick. My Grandfather, ERNEST, died in 1962 in Melbourne, Victoria. I am interested in finding out more about my Grandfather and Edith. Would love to hear from anyone who may have information. |
