Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 17 Send Message	Trying to find parents & siblings of Charles Hartley b. 1831 England possibly near London. He went to sea as a lad sailing to several parts of the world before trying his hand at whaling around the South Pacific. He married in 1861 & settled in Okains Bay Banks Pennisula, New Zealand. His occupation was shoemaker possibly learnt from someone in the family in England. Any suggestions or connections would be thrilled. Cheers, Dianne
