Looking for a Sarah Hartley, b c1788 Salford, believed to be the daughter of John Hartley and Mary Makin and may have come from Strangeways Hall in Lancashire. Sarah married James Shawcross of Shawe Hall, Flixton c 1808 and they had children 1809-1829 inclusive. Is Sarah a member of your family ?? if so you may be able to clarify some details for me, like when/where did Sarah and James actually get married and what are their actual years of birth. Any advice would help regarding this couple ! I know they are my G G G Grandparents but thats it .. no info apart from the children ! Been on IGI no marriage .. don't know where else to look.
