I am trying to trace my father's family tree. I have that my branch of the Hayweards came from the Much Marcle/Ross area. The earliest record I have is for the 1841 census showing Samuel hayward aged 40 with his wife Ann, and other members of the family were George, Stephen, James, Jane (mother?), Sussanah (sister?) and George (Brother?) Samuel died in Ross. Stephen and his wife Elizabeth were in Coalbrookvale near Blaenavon in 1861, and Aberystruth in 1881where they are shown as having children William, John, Mary Ann and Thomas. William married Mary Ann Russell and was living in Gelligaer parish in New Tredegar in 1901. They had children, Mary Ann, Edith, Gladys and Jeanette. Can anyone help?
