We have a jug passed down from my paternal grandmother with this inscription on. It is an ordinary decorated ceramic jug but we have been told it may be a christening jug. Hayward is the name of my grandmother's mother's mother in law. Her name was Frances Elizabeth Hayward born about 1828 in Manchester. I have found a lot of info about the Haywards, sometimes spelt Haywood or Heywood but can find nothing on Thomas. Does anyone know anything? |

By any chance was Frances Hayward married to Richard James Harvey c1909? If so, she could also be a relation of mine. |
