Florence came from Aberdeen as a young girl. The family were involved with fishing and came to London to work in Billingsgate fish market when it opened.

We cannot find her parents or if she had any siblings.

If anyone can guide me to find out more about her I would be very grateful

right - I'll put on that informaton you sent me
the more informaton you can supply the more chance you have of finding something out

My grandmothers name for Florence Hill. We understand her family came from Aberdeen to work at Billlingsgate fish market but that is all we know

Now first of all, what relation was she to you - your grandmother? If so you should be able to estimate when she was born by calculating how old your mother is - assume if she is your Gran she would be about twenty years older than your mother
