Find Ancestors

Hi there,
Help needed please.
Looking for the parents of John Hill born 1839 Shadwell, but maybe not the place of the parents, as on the 1851 census they don't show up. Must have been travelling perhaps. Would love to know his parents names and where they came from.
Didn't know if you can ask for census help anymore, but at least i can see if anyone out there can help. Have googled it dfferent ways and can't find them. Thanks folks
