I am trying to find what happened to Percy Hill born1st September 1918. He was born at 32 Wedmore?,not sure of spelling ,Islington. His mother wasLily Edith
This was not the usual family address, has anyone got access to census information ,to find out which family lived there.

I don,t think that percy was subsequently brought up in the family home

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Valerie.
The record you are thinking of is the electoral register. As the name suggests, it is a list of voters only living at a particular address - so only men over 21 would be shown in 1918 I believe. It would of course indicate which family though as you say.
It might be possible to get a search done where these records are held - usually the nearest main public library nearest to the district.
