I am trying to find Jane Hill born c 1851 in Porstmouth. She married Edward Chamberlain who was a plumber from chiselhurst, Kent, although I can find no record of the marriage! They had 7 children, Jane (b.1869 Portsmouth), Florence (b. 1871 Portsmouth), Charles (b. 1873 Portsmouth), Clara (b.1876 Greenwich), George (b. 1878 Bromley), Alfred (b. 1881 Bromley) and Henry John (b. 1884 Poplar). The first two children, Jane and Florence may have been Jane's children and therefore called Hill. Can anyone help?

There could be a connection with the Hill family in my tree.

I have a Jane Hill c1849 whose parents were Samuel and Amelia Hill.

Jane had a sister called Clara, a brother George, a niece called Florence - all were either born or brought up in Poplar.
