I'm searching for information on Albert Edward Hill born in London 1882/1884. At some time he went to Australia and then returned to Europe in 1915 as part of the Australian Imperial Force to fight in the first World War. We found the embarkation list for the troop ship that departed from Brisbane on 29th June 1915. At that time his address was given as 'Care of Geo Parmenter, R.O Tivoli Hill, Ipswich, Queensland.' His occupation was given as 'miner'. We think he may have then returned to Australia - possibly in the Sydney area - after the war. Any info greatly appreciated. David Hill |
