Sheila McKinstry, Birmingham Trying to find details of my maternal grandfather JOSEPH HENRY HILL who was a soldier bc 1891. I believe he was born in BURY in Lancashire and he had a sister Louie who married Norman Jones. Joseph married Lizzie Clay in 1915 (father of Joseph is Frederick, occupation brewer, deceased) and they lived in Selly Oak and Northfield in Birmingham. After Lizzie died in 1936 at the age of 46, Joseph married a lady called Grace (surname unknown). I think Joseph died in about 1956 but cannot verify this. Any details about Joseph, Grace and Louie gratefully received. I am at sheila pinner at hot mail or sheila mckinstry at the same place. |
