Trying to find Hill

Hi - I'm trying to find descendents of Annie Hill married to William McNeil in 1888 in Cambusnethan, Wishaw, Lanark. Annie and William McNeil had 9 children, John, Hugh, Jean, Janet, James, Robert Henry, Annie, William and Hector. John definitely was the oldest but the rest of the family are probably not in name order of birth. They were all born in Waterloo, Cambusnethan, Wishaw with the exception of Jean. My family descends from Annie Hill McNeil born 1905. Hugh McNeil married in 1818 whilst on active service with the Gordon Highlanders and moved to Coalsnaughton where he was still living in 1943 when he was the informant on his father's death certificate. He was known to live in Tillicoultry also. James, Robert, Annie and Hector all ended up living around the Edinburgh area. Annie Hill might have had a brother John Hill who married a Margaret Warnock. John Hill was a fireman in the pit and eventually moved from Berryhill Rows, Cambusnethan to Dalziel. I'm keen to find out more about the Hill family but have hit a brick wall about her life before 1888 when she married William McNeil. I look forward to hearing from anyone who might any relevant information. Thank you in anticipation. Regards Pat Edinburgh
