Having recently had a family history chat with my nan, I have managed to take my tree back as far as c1880. She spoke about her childhood and her relatives, both of which were in and around ALFORD, LINCOLNSHIRE. I would like to find anyone from this area with the surname HILL. This was her maiden name 'Doreen HILL' and was the daughter of William HILL & Dora Hayes. William, was a local blacksmith / farrier. Both william and dora both had many brothers and sisters. If anyone has any information then I would dearly love to hear from you. My nan is over 80 and I would like to gather as much family information as possible. Thankyou for reading. Shaun Dunham |
