Hi, i am trying to find my grandfathers side of the family but cant seem to go any further back. My great grandmother Beatrice Hill, was born in Illogan in Cornwall in about 1885. Her mother was called Susan Hill, born 1857. Beatrice married John Charles Gilbert. She had 3 sisters, Jayne, Mary Ellen, and Emily, and a brother Charles. My grandfather was born to them on 30 January 1907, he was called Wilfred John Gilbert. I think she was a domestic servant until she married. She died June 26 1955. Any further fact seem to be missing, any one that thinks they can help or may be related please contact me, thanks |
