Hello, I'm trying to find any information on my great great grandfather Martin Hill born approx. 1806 in Great Longstone (I think) Derbyshire. He married Hannah Ashton in 1831 in Bakewell, Derbyshire and died in 1854. Several children including Henry (1830-1839), Tamar (1836-1854), William (1836-1893?), Elizabeth 1840?, Japhat 1844?, James 1845? This is as far back as I've been able to go. I think Martin's father was called Thomas Hill but no info about when born, where lived, etc. Any info greatly appreciated, trying to put together a family tree for my aunt's 90th birthday in February. |
