Find Ancestors

Please can anyone help my father-in-law was born to a William Hill and phyliss chambers, I beleive William was in the Army and was based in Tilbury Essex for a while, and had what sounds like a brief relationship with Phyliss,he later married and I know he had at least one son and one daughter, Phyliss went on to marry a Webster, but William paid maintenance through the courts for his son William Robert untill he was of age although unfortunately he has no fathers name on his birth certificate, if antone out there recognises any of this information please please contact me. Thanks Denise. William Robert was born in January 1945. And I beleive his father William Hill to be born about 1923 I beleive he could have been born in Perth in Scotland but this is just family hear say. We were also told when he left Tilbury he was going on to the united emirates but again don't know if this is true.
